BY TAXI
Most Beijing taxi drivers know the Capital Mansion (Jingcheng Dasha) complex in which the Athletic Center is located. Taxis will take you to the 50-story building in the complex with little difficulty, especially if you provide them with the Chinese characters above. The tricky part is that we do not convene at the Capital Club on the 50th Floor, but rather in its Athletic Center (Jingcheng Julebu Kangle Zhongxin). If you’ve gotten to the portico of the tall Capital Mansion building you aren’t far away; just ask how to walk to the Athletic Center. If it’s cold, you can even do it indoors. The Athletic Center is set-back behind the bank of low-rise apartments. Upon entering the main entrance of the complex turn right – away from the high-rise tower and follow the drive along the low-rise apartments until you can see the western side gate exit. At the last building before the exit there is an underpass labeled Capital Club. Walk through to reach the Athletic Center.
BY SUBWAY
It’s less than ten minute walking from LiangMaQiao subway station on line 10. Click here for a full subway map. From the LiangMaQiao station, walk west (passing the Kunlun Hotel) on LiangMaQiao Road for for just over one long block to a traffic light. Just after the traffic light, you will see the Capital Club on your left.
The Capital Club has provided Kehillat Beijing with its home for more than four years. The Capital Club has offered its facilities as a “home” to Kehillat Beijing, and other religious communities, as part of its effort to play an active role in the local community.
