Kehillat Beijing

Founded in 1979, the Kehillat Beijing Foundation supports Jewish life in Beijing, around China, and across the world. We host Shabbat services and dinner each and every Friday night beginning at 7:00pm, in addition to a range of holiday celebrations, educational opportunities, and community retreats and excursions into one of the world's greatest cities.

The folks at Kehillat Beijing would like to invite you and your family to join us for Passover. This year's community Seder will be held on the first night of Passover, and will coincide with Shabbat on Friday, April 22nd.

Like all Kehillat events, the Kehillat Seder is lay-led, and we will need help from everyone. Please let us know if you're interested in participating.

We welcome everyone to attend -- out-of-towners, locals, old-timers and new-comers. However, because this is one of our biggest events of the year, we do ask that you register beforehand.  Kehillat's Seder requires a ticket, which can be bought ahead of time: ideally online, or in person using RMB cash.

Registration Information

If you purchase online, you have the option of paying a "Member" price or a "Non-Member" price. If you've already a member for year 5776, go ahead and get some of those discounted "Member" tickets! If you haven't, sign up and pay your membership dues before you take that discount.

Non-Member Prices

Adults:  ¥300 ($48)

Kids:  ¥150 ($24)

Students:  ¥150 ($24)

Member Prices

Adults:  ¥200 ($32)

Online Ticket Purchasing

We strongly encourage everyone to purchase your tickets ahead of time, online. Online orders can be made with an international credit card - unfortunately, we can't yet accept UnionPay cards.

After you complete your purchase, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Please print this email out - or bring it on your phone - to services as proof of purchase. You'll exchange this proof of purchase for paper tickets at the door, which will be collected before meals by Capital Club staff.

Cash Ticket Reservation

If you'd like to purchase your tickets using cash in person, we still need an RSVP so we know how many people to expect for each meal. Please fill out the form below to let us know who's coming.

If, after exhausting both of the options above, you're still unable to RSVP or purchase a ticket, send us an email to let us know.

If you're an out-of-towner or Beijinger-in-spirit, donations are still welcome to help support our year-round Jewish home. Donations support expenses incurred by bringing Rabbis and Cantors for important holidays, meal expenses for traveling students, and educational programming for our community's children. Your donation will continue to make Jewish life in Beijing possible. All donations and membership dues are tax-deductible for U.S. taxpayers.
