Founded in 1979, the Kehillat Beijing Foundation supports Jewish life in Beijing, around China, and across the world. We host Shabbat services and dinner each and every Friday night beginning at 7:00pm, in addition to a range of holiday celebrations, educational opportunities, and community retreats and excursions into one of the world's greatest cities.

Passover - 2019

This year Kehillat celebrated Passover with one hundred and twenty guests! The seder was co-led by KB alum Jamie Fleishman and Community Coordinator Amalya Megerman, with many musical accompaniments by the Kang and Assayag kids, and Shai Rosenboim on piano. We had intense afikomen prize negotiations where the kids showed that they really know how to jiang jia, a rousing rendition of chad gadya, and a warm and festive meal with guests from all over Asia and the world!
